The Corsair Vengeance i7200 looks like an old-school gaming desktop when it's turned off. Although the Corsair 4000D airflow case is a mid-tower ATX model, it has the appearance of a hulking black monolith (18.3 x 9.1 x 17.4 inches), with a (dim) view of the inside through a tinted-window side panel.

When you push the Power button, though, the system bursts into life with color thanks to an intricate RGB lighting setup. The three fans on the front panel (which are hidden by a detachable grill with the Vengeance emblem at the top) cycle through different colors. The RGB effects are enhanced with white lights that appear to be random lightning strikes.

Even in those circumstances, the system was frequently closed. It averaged 55 frames per second in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, 56 frames per second in Grand Theft Auto V, and 59 frames per second in Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which is similar to the Alienware Aurora R11's most current edition.

In our most demanding gaming test, Red Dead Redemption 2, the Corsair didn't do quite as well. Overall performance:

The Corsair Vengeance i7200 had no problems with non-gaming performance. With a processor like the Intel Core i9-10850K, it makes sense: 10 cores, 20 threads, and a base 3.6GHz clock speed that can increase to 5.2GHz. When you combine that with all of the RAM, you have a system that can do practically anything. It had a fantastic multicore Geekbench 5.3 score of 11,047, which was nearly similar to the Aurora R11. 

The Vengeance i7200 was just a hair faster than the Aurora R11 in our Handbrake video encoding test (5:13 versus 5:21). The HDXPRT 4 test, which assesses performance in music, photo, and video editing, gave Corsair's computer a little edge: 124 versus 119.

Our 25GB file copy test was one area where the Alienware shone. We measured the Aurora R11's speed at 1,191.5MBps, compared to 824.4MBps for the Corsair. However, in normal use, the change will be negligible.

4- Software:

The Vengeance i7200, like other gaming PCs, is low on software because Corsair wants as much of your system resources as possible to go toward games.

The iCUE program is the sole exception, allowing you to customize the lighting and fan settings by choosing from a choice of pre-designed profiles or creating your own.

Gaming hardware in general, and video cards in particular, have come a long way in recent years, so you could construct your gaming PC for less money and still enjoy nearly every big title.

However, by gaming PC market standards, even the entry-level configuration of the Corsair Vengeance i7200 is a bargain, and you may find its fit and quality, both inside and out, to be well worth paying for. Given that this PC is a top performer in every category, it is well worth your consideration if you want to play more games for less money.
